My Spring Challenge - An Update

So, on Monday I posted a Spring Challenge pledging that I would not buy new paper until the end of April!! What was I thinking?????? CHA orders are flooding our local stamp stores and I'm getting calls day and night from store staff "just letting me know that all this GORGEOUS new stock has arrived"!!! I confess that I would have gone shopping yesterday if my schedule wasn't already full - but I HELD OUT until today (LOL!) So.... I made it 4 days (not 40!) without buying paper! Check out the beautiful new BoBunny goodness that jumped in my cart!!! I couldn't stop them no matter how hard I protested!
From now on, I know you won't believe any promises that I make, but I do promise to put these papers away until the end of April - I won't use them until May - HONEST!!! I do plan to get back on the wagon, but I was told that the Basic Grey Capella line is also going to be coming in!!! OMG, someone, please tell me how I'm supposed to keep THAT from following me home!! Your advice in this matter would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Hi, my name is Valerie and I'm a paper addict!!
If you're an addict too, there is strength in numbers.... please join my challenge!

  1. LOL, Oh, so weak! Can't say I blame ya, though. If I were there, I'd of bought all the Bo Bunny goodness, too! Yes, we're all sick! lol :)

Good luck holding out on not using that new paper! It'll be like holding candy in front of a child and telling them they can't have it!
Just kidding, I know you can do it! :)

  2. Is it just paper you can't buy or other crafty stuff too? No...that would be just going "Cold Turkey" and it wouldn't be good for anybody. Need to take it slow...

I choose to go clothes shopping instead of crafty shopping yesterday. Probably spent more so crafty shopping would have been cheaper. Keep that thought in mind next time you're heading out for some retail therapy.

    Happy Easter Val.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment! Your kind words are so inspiring...
