SDC87: Winter Whites

This week, it's my turn to select the Stampotique Designer's Challenge theme!  I'd like to see various shades of winter whites in your projects - white, shimmer white, off-white, ecru, eggshell, etc. It wasn't planned, but this theme has a striking significance for those of us here on the East Coast who have just endured a big winter snow storm! All of nature is drooping under the weight of a heavy white winter blanket! Mother Nature really does provide the most beautiful inspiration!  Be sure to play along for your chance to win $35 in Stampotique stamps.

This week I was also inspired by a beautiful white card posted by Kim at Joyful Creations.  Her gentle elements worked perfectly with the gorgeous Stampotique images.  I have stayed true to her elegant layout with just a few minor changes.

  5. Beautiful Valerie, thanks for a great challenge theme xx

  6. Love the simple elegance you have created here, Valerie! Although this appeals to be because I love the monochromatic theme, but white-on-white has always been a challenge for me. You are forcing me out of my comfort zone. (Just north of Boston here, Valerie, so we have a lot of snow...although much has melted in our 40-degree weather!)

  7. great card, love the simplicity of it.

  8. Love your beautiful, peaceful card. Thank you for the fun challenge this week!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment! Your kind words are so inspiring...
