"What's your favorite technique to make backgrounds? I love making backgrounds with distress ink on a craft sheet. I use distress ink, memento, brusho's, distress stains, whatever I feel like working with. Quick and easy and a different and surprising result every time."Woah, Nellie! How's a girl to choose!! There are sooooo many fun techniques! I love using a brayer and a multi-coloured ink pad to create all kinds of background effects. I have oodles of embossing folders that don't get used to their full potential so I thought I'd try brayering Kaleidacolor inks onto one to try using it like a stamp! I spritzed it with a good amount of water and then used a dry brayer to apply pressure so the image would transfer to the paper evenly. Here are my results! Maybe I'll get to go to Paris in the Springtime this year!!
